Stealing Money From Yourself

I recently started a new profile after having not played for a little while. I just accepted an "Our Esteemed Colleague Wishes To Make A Donation" mission, and something funny happened:
Obviously, "Ivanka Trump" isn't a name normally generated by the game (I like naming other accounts after "public figures"; the mission is having me steal money from myself, and with an especially large sum of money that I don't even have in the account. Is this a bug, or does Uplink actually pull accounts from banks organically? The ridiculous sum of money (almost 30,000 credits more than I actually have) is what makes me especially suspicious.
