Old uplink ?

I just got a copy of uplink on steam after I remember playing it YEARS ago on a friends computer and I remember it came with a tool or had an option to download a tool that let you make your own hardware what happen to that?

Well anything like that might be on Modlink but the last post that was 2005, so it may be slightly out of date by now.

Really i thought it was a tool offered as part of the offical game rats. XD I remember it just being something u drag and drop and it made all the files you needed for the gateway. :P Oh well

Edit: After a bit more work I found it was a tool called gateway maker on modlink I guess its no longer around. Sad

Sadly its no longer up for download so I am attempting to find an old version of it and see what I can find.
