World Map cut off at the bottom

I just purchased and installed Uplink 1.55 on 64-bit Karmic Koala (9.10).

Everything works, except for the world map, which is too large, which causes it to be cut off at the bottom. I cannot see the full map, or the buttons at the bottom:




I tried running it with different graphics options, but they all have the bug. What can I do?

Looks like an unpredicted side-effect of the crazy screen ratio. You can't play that wide.

It looks like the game can only run in resolutions listed by 'xrandr -q'. I fiddled with xorg to get 1280x800 as an option and the map is of the correct size now.

I ran into another bug, but I'll post in separate thread.
