HUD Connection Analysis Problem

Hi, I have the latest version of Uplink (1.55) and I am having problems with the hud connection analyser.
I have the proxy bypasser v5, monitor bypass v5 and firewall bypass v5.

Whenever I try to bypass the monitor and firewall of a remote host there are no boxes to drag them into on the hud connection analyser.
This is what it looks like below:




I have tried placing the bypassers on the corners by left clicking, not right clicking. I have also tried placing placing the bypasser on the remote host icon but nothing works.

click the HUD, then place the bypassers.

what is it? Any one got a clue/fix?

I have the same problem on Windows 8 with Steam. On Mac OS this problem doesn't happen.
Hud Connection doesn't show the Proxy, Firewall and Monitor nodes. Weird...
I tried running it on safemode but no luck either.
