Humble Bundle Save location

Postby Waylon Sachs » Sun Dec 04, 2011 3:33 am

I got a nice new, code card free Uplink from the bundle pack and went to go back up some of my saves, only to notice that they aren't in my folder. I have 2 saves and the .tmp and .usrs for both of them don't exist. Any tips on finding them. Before you say "try searching" I have.

Try searching your entire computer including hidden folders. (well, actually, try just your root windows user folder first)

Telling us your operating system may also help us help you.

We're also assuming you didn't use the Steam or Desura key to download Uplink and just got the direct download.

Thank you all for the responses.
I am using windows 7 64-bit.
I think I may have figured it out though, Rather than the saves being in the Uplink folder it was saved in a temp folder in my AppData folder. I just moved it back to the uplink folder and set it so it would always run in Admin mode. Problem solved!
Thanks again, its good to see this awesome game still has a base.
