Steam, or non-Steam?
Uplink is available directly from IV, or from Valve via Steam. Which version of Uplink do you have?

Try +graphics_softwaremouse on the command line? But i'm not confident this will solve your issue.
You may check in your uplink directory if there is a opengl32.dll.bak file, if there is, simply copy that file and rename to opengl32.dll, this will turn software rendering on.
Else, there used to be a link to that file on this forum.
EDIT: Else try patch 1.55, this patch contains that opengl32.dll.bak file. There used to be a link around here to download it, but it seems it's still available on the .net (it's the right file since the MD5 (92949aec4a0e599c6f2afc46531b1c07) and SHA1 (39eedbb2d6b49b6ae9dee61fa6a403fbda47625d) gives the right result, so no alteration!)

Re: Uplink Mouse
I was reading this because it has helped me out in the past and I was like, ok... so I did that, and its not working. Then I went to steam and realized that I was looking at
the non-steam uplink files!
What a DOOF I am.
