That sounds like an error on the sales platform's part, the servers are the ones from Ubuntu's launchpad. IV may have filled in the content, but the servers are not under their control. So maybe talk to Ubuntu support?Maxim_Shapoval wrote:"W:Failed to fetch https://private-ppa.launchpad.net/comme ... 6/Packages SSL connection timeout at 117815, E:Some index files failed to download. Now I have reached to the same conclusion. I'm already told about this problem to support (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/804900) and hope for resolving as quickly as possible because I have a great mind to play it.
Happy New Year!!!
For a lot of users out there running the newer versions of Ubuntu, I just wanted to give the only fresh archive I could find for the required libraries:
http://archive.debian.net/sarge/i386/li ... 2/download
Took me a bit of searching, but I finally found this place had a working link. Ironically all the North American links didn't work, ended up getting it from one of the Asian mirrors. This shit is SCARCE man! Now I know what Neo was dealing in the Matrix... sheesh.
Anyway, just click one of the mirrors and open with the GDebi Package Installer. Works like a charm afterwards.
Best of luck.... MakotoSFG.
