...and do absolutely nothing with them.

This seems to be pointless on any machine with only one account (admin account). Is there something I'm missing about that screen?

Think real world situation. You use an operating system designed to provide many features for a range of different users' needs, as such, you do not require all of those features. Now, assuming the features you didn't need posed no security risk or performance problems, would you go through the trouble of disabling or removing all of them, which may be time consuming, difficult and/or impossible due to integration and lack of user interfaces?

So basically, just because it's there doesn't mean it has a use or purpose.

But there's a commit button on every instance of that screen. Seems that we should be able to mess with that. Are there any mods that utilize that?
