What is code card??

i update uplink by patch 1.55 it asked me about code card where can i find it? there is some numbers in 15*15 square is this what it want?? i dont know

another thing happend when i run the game second time i have sound & curser but no graphics why is that?? im kubuntu 7.10 all i have is a black screen

Yes, those are the codes on the square of black paper.

then i have to copy all this squarre?? and past it in the game??

what about the bug i have it just start in black screen i see the curser and hear the sound but nothing else

how i fully remove the game i want to install it from the bigging or tring older version

When creating an agent it asks you for a specific code. Such as say A4. So you go across to A, then down to 4. Tada, code.

As for your screen being black, not entirely sure why. I've never had that issue with kubuntu myself. Tried running it in windowed mode?

what i have todo now? i want to remove it at all and reinstall old version that i have without the patch but i cannt remove it with apt-get remove

use the add/remove programme function

or

manually delete the uplink directory,shortcuts,start bar icon etc

He's not using Windows.
Uplink help: Check out the Guide or FAQ.
Latest Uplink patch is v1.55.

I'm trying to remember where Uplink installs under linux, it's been a while. It may be in ~/.uplink but I'm not certain.

A forum search will probably reveal the answer.

does uplink have just one folder after install? i found folder of upli nk in /usr/local/games is this the only folder of uplink? no other folder or files somewhere else? then if i delete this folder is this save uninstall?

I think it also creates a folder in your home directory named ".uplink".

~/.uplink is the user settings directory.
