I did a search for Nanobyte first and they were pretty old so here goes another

i just wanted to know how may people on the uplink communitie is going to/or is already playing Nanobyte the new and improved uplink

Come onto a forum, start insulting those on it. Good start. How about you go back to your vapourware and stop bothering us.

So, there's a downloads page but it doesn't actually provide any downloads on it and people are instead expected to read the forums because "someone might have the alpha up for download"? That's just stupid.

VEST, may I suggest that you take the time to proofread your comments before posting and recommend that you use punctuation, a spell checker and avoid text speak (ie abbreviations like u instead of you) when posting. It makes it very difficult to understand you, leads to misunderstandings and most of all, it makes you look like a fool.

Being open minded, I'm downloading the vapou - alpha. I'll tell you how sh - what I think of it soon enough.

OK, so it's not shit. However, with the sounds that really seem like I've heard them before somewhere, it's very hard not to call this is an Uplink clone with deformities. When the sounds go, the experience might actually feel different.

In the meantime, it's Uplink with a new way of connecting, a load of initial jobs that are insultingly easy by the time you've done the training exercises (which are: "Buy something" "Access this and delete something" and "Hack the password, THEN access this and delete something" respectively), and a far more irritating GUI.

Nanobyte Online is MMO Hacking Game I've been developing for some time now. The game is still in development but it's coming along

I'm still working on it guys, I'm just very busy with work. Just thought I'd say that the alpha is nothing like what it is now. I've changed alot since then. Thanks for downloading it though, much appreciated.
