Umm … To answer that question … I got swallowed by that scary thing called the real world. Thanks to a chat with Icepick last night whilst burning the midnight oil trying to fix a site that I was working on, I was reminded of Uplink and the fact that I actually do miss playing it. Now if only I could find the disk again ... >.<

So … I may be back …
I might even be persuaded to remake “Uplink: The Hackers Shadow” at some point if I can dig out all the new files and reacquaint myself with the game once more. It’ll be like a long lost friend … *sighs wistfully*

Anyway, seriously, it'd be nice to have you (Raven) around the larger community again. Just uh, the uplink forums are a bit of a graveyard, so I'm really not sure what you're expecting... IRC is still fairly lively, but maybe you hate IRC, who knows!

Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do ... If only I can drag myself away from playing Darwinia right now >.<
*glances at clock* I would still be playing it now, but my computer has decided to start dropping hits at me and has started to lag horribly, so I guess I had better get some shut eye and finish it tomorrow

I have finished Darwinia now and have uprooted my copy of Uplink. I am slowly getting back into the swing of things – although am certainly not as fast as I used to be! *laugh* Need to work on that …
