Is this a good thing or bad?

It's good that IV have enough publicity to be spammed, but spam is a Bad Thing TM.

Talking about the forum spam I assume? Eh, doesn't really matter on the size of the company or site, people get payed to search on google for phpBBs (and other types of forum software) and post spam on them. I think they get some pittiful commision like 2p per site.

Spam on these forums goes way back, I'm sure there's the odd (commercial) spam from before the release of Defcon
