Exactly.

From my understanding, the Hacker Elite was the rip-off from strategy first, and the Trust is a Weakness was the original from IV. I don't know maybe I'm just looking at it the wrong way...

No, when IV released Uplink it was just called 'Uplink'. 'Trust is a Weakness' is a tag line that's on the box. When IV made their deal with Strategy First, they decided to add 'Hacker Elite' to the title, because SF thought the title was too vague (I assume). I think the retail boxes of U:HE also had 'Trust is a Weakness' on the box.

I probably should have asked this sooner. Are you also going after stores that sell the SF version?

Finally, time to get their money!

How is Defcon going to be sold? Through stores and the IV site?

Thanks guys!

I'm preparing instructions for our lawyer as we speak. Those links you supplied are very helpful.

Ambrosia are still a reliable and valued partner for Uplink, so we're not counting them.

Meanwhile, I believe that circuit city are selling a jewel cased version - can anyone confirm that, and are there any other retailers who are currently selling Hacker elite - Ignore those reselling old versions...

Cheers,

Tom.

I'll take a look at my local Circut City next time I'm in that end of town. If I find it, it will be the first time ever I've seen it for sale here.

Keep Looking - please try and get everyone to help!

Thanks for all the help so far people!

It seems that 90% of the links / stores you have sumbitted so far are supplied by Trymedia, which is good, as that means we can focus our efforts on Trymedia and SF to start with.

However, I SF said that there were around 5-6 seperate online distribution networks they were using, so there must be some more out there!

I've had a quick hunt, but I'm working my nuts off to get DEFCON out on as many platforms as possible...

Therefore we'd really appreciate it if you could help us find any others out there!

Thanks :-)

Tom, Mark and Chris.

So, you're trying to publish his work whilst implying that it is you that is doing the development work?
