Fun game.

This has to be the best hollywood-styled h/c/p game out there i have tried, and more importantly the only one running _natively_ under Linux.

BS hacker is too screamy and substance-less, Street Hacker is way too cumbersome to play (i keep treating the terminal like a GNU/bash VT. Gah).
It seems to strike a crystal clear tone of balance, skipping out entirely on realism, yet provides a fun game world to play with.
Much fun. :)

May be one day I will actually try to get hold of those games and give them a test run.

If you try any one of them, try Street Hacker; being the better game of the two.
Doesn't run under Linux, tough, and i plan to rid my box of my application-lockin-XP-partition to free disc space for other purpouses.
Meaning !wine.

I completed Street Hacker in a few hours. The game was pretty good, but it was waaaay to short. Nowhere close to Uplink, of course ¬_¬.

I've been playing both. Street Hacker is definately the better contender here.

I just wish I had more time to really get into it.
