Actually just like a childs picture book, it is a quite good introduction into the world of hacking.

I belive for example the fact that you have to bounce your connection through Proxies resembles Uplink.
The fact that you can hack some oldschool passwords with classic password crackers is an other one. Not online I guess but once you've obtained the file at least.

Now it's been sometime since I played this game (just started again) but I mean it really inspired me to try and learn about computers and from what I remembered as I was learning and reading books and homepages I figured they had similarities (the game and reality)

Ofcourse nothing in terms of the fancy interface with the all the sounds and like... meh

You dont have to agree with me but I'd like to hear your oppinion as why it doesn't resemble a childs picturebook.

Actually this is a "Hacker Simulator" According to themselves.

Pilots train on Microsoft Flight Simulator at home before they take up the exams in the big official simulators (and those are cool btw O_O srsly). For example.
