Yeah my computer is called " Two-Legged SKorpiAN" because it is a slow, slow pentium 233 that always stuffs up. When I get a new computer, it won't be as slow and crappy. No way.

Remember, SKorpiAn stings are deadly...

Lomion. A Quenya name and phrase that means Son Of Twilight.
Both the computer at home and the one I use at school is called that, or rather, the one at school is actually called Medes-g12009, but I described it as Lomion.
I like it :D
Has a good swhung over it, me thinks. :D

My laptop is called altisonum.

My computer is called Sapere aude.

I'll leave that as an excercise for you to know the translations. I'm sure Stewsburntmonkey would know those outright... :)

Clou (LC, named after the inspector in 'The Pink Panther' series. Clou, as in, without one.)
Ereiam (PowerPC)
Ereiam II (Quadra. This one was poesessed by it's old name, 'boo.' There had to have been a ghost in that thing, it kept loading an over-written system and renameing itself 'boo'... I didn't know computers could do that... fitting for the name)
Ereiam III (G4)
Ereiam IV (G5)
Ereiam refers to the movie "Brasil." Ereiam was a "ghost in the machine." It fits so well.
Lorca (Powerbook G4) Named after Federico García Lorca, a spanish poet. I don't remember why I named it that.
Bela Lugosi (an old 1990's PowerMac) This one was named because I basically had to gut the core system processes to make the thing work atfer I got it for free. It kept unmounted its own Harddrive. The thing was considered dead by everyone, and I was going to just take it for parts. However, it was able to be fixed, though everyone thought it dead. Now it's "undead" as the first actor being the Count Dracula, Bela Lugosi in 1931.
Palshife (iBook G3) - I named this, oddly enough, after an old 1994 mac game named "Escape Velocity." It's a planet. I think :/

Biko (P3) I at a cat named this. He was completely psycho. So was this computer. 'nuff said. This is not a slander toward Biko of South Africa. He was a great man, and suffered for the wrong reasons. (September, '77... It was business as usual, in police room 619...)
GIR (P4) Well, read Rkiver's post.

I have more, but I can't remeber them at this time :/

This is in her sig (sorry for answering before you get to, Iris - no offence intended) but: http://uplink.stewsburntmonkey.com/profile.php?Iris.

Ahem. Am I the only person who actually looked through the Community Profile properly? (Please don't answer yes, I'm sure I'm not that sad and nerdy... :) )

Iris, you have to bear in mind, you are a small island of femininity in a sea of men. As the saying goes, men speak in C, women in Java; *we* haven't got the necessary VM for understanding even simple statements made by you, so don't take it out on Darkshine too harshly for under-interpreting your original statement.

EDIT: This is where somebody points out about not being able to see your lips online...
