Renamed patch.dat and it works fine.

Also noticed that there is a 20ghz CPU at the bottom of the software list at Uplink.

Also, when I complete the uplink test mission it doesn't raise my rating.

The renaming of the patch.dat works for me too, but I hexed my account to see what else you can do with it, and it also didn't raise my ranking, the pictures from the gateways aren't right, the connection analyser doesn't show which bypassers to use anymore and a weird error comes up with a few stuff, like the connection analyser and when you want to buy new hardware...
There are a few more bugs, but I just wanted you guys to know...

PS. Not complaining just telling what I found out...

that 'weird error' occurs if an image is missing.

I'll include them for beta3b

Not sure but I think that the sound files

Postby Pyrotecnix » Thu Feb 24, 2005 8:34 am

I think the sound files are causing a IRQ error but not 100% sure when I try and exit the game it crashes XP and reboots I have tried it both ways with and with out sound and with combinations let me know if anyone else gets this error.

Okay, so... The Linux version of Onlink is now availible... It's only the Beta2 one, but that's okay, being that the Beta3 for windows doesn't work anyway... I'll try to fix that this week and get Linux up to speed as well.

You can Download the Linux version from the site... just click on the image in my sig ;)

Contraband, rather than ASW, own the rights to the source code for Mac AFAIK.

Hey, if we're reaching out for people to give us their hard-earned money, we might as well give them the correct information.

oi, wyrmkill, change it back.

There was a time when i paid for hosting ¬_¬

And I will pay ECWHost to get more bandwidth... the amount I give to that depends on the amount of donations, however.
