Typical end of summer frustration... :-/

Postby The cat » Sun Aug 22, 2004 3:36 pm

Sooner or later I think everybody feels it.
Of course breaking a summer routine is tough, but this is not my point.
How do you handle with it, and how do you prepare yourself for the coming challenges?
For example, I will start high school within approximately a week, and I wonder how I can succeed there with some new challenges that I have never experienced before.

I will be grateful if you will cooperate, tell about it, maybe give some advices, and more grateful if it will remain unblocked.

well, what i do is leave any work you have to do till the last weekend, then you get the maximum summer out of the time you have, the then you do all the work at the last minute ;)

The only problem is that we don't want to get back there!!! ;)

This year, end of summer isnt to bad for me, Im just waiting for GCSE results, then its off to college. I like change, so going to college will be good. Plus I live 25 meters from the college enternece, so more sleep for me! (Sleep solves ALL problems, except narcolepsy[sp?])

(ARGH!) My school started more than a week ago...

Edit: And I agree with Hektik. I always do the homework at about 23:00. And when I wake up at the morning, I'm walking like a zombie.

LOL, probably the best quote I have ever seen.

The only problem is that we don't want to get back there!!!

This is not totally correct. My main problem is not the fact that I just don't want to get back there. I don't think I would have any problems if this was not a new school and new unrevealed challenges. The fact that I am going to something new is frightening, even if it's slightly exciting.
If it was just another year that I have to start, I would have the problem of: "shit, I don't want to get back to this idiotic place and these idiotic people", and then this whole topic would be meaningless :)

My school started more than a week ago...

It's the same in Denmark as good as I know... So I guess it's like that in the Scandinavian countries.

If I'm not mistaken, Israel is in the second place in the world in vacations time.
So I have nothing to get in Romania except some pretty tourism sites maybe :)

Thanks for the invitation anyway :)

In overall counting it's ALMOST 3 months all year long (in Russia), if i'm not mistaken. In overall vacation days all the year Russian doesn't have too much of them. Not more than Israel and other western countries, however.
