Don't remind me Mona DID die....
IT CANT BE!!!

No, Max didn't die. In fact, there is a possibility to a continuous game, so he is alive.

It finished when he killed the Russian and the police officers came to the scene and saw he's alive.

He solved his case thanks to Mona.

He doesn't solve the case! He just kills everyone! Who is there to convict? If he gets out of that one, I've lost all faith in everything ever.

Don't worry, I will get over it.

That's not the point, you're the one saying how realistic and serious it is, but if they just brush that under the carpet then it is completely unrealistic and is really undermining the 'serious', 'mature' and 'adult' killing that takes place in the game. If it excuses Max's merciless, undiscriminative kiilling spree, then it's purporting the popular opinion that it's simply mindless childish violence.

If you reply by saying "it's an action game" I swear I'll stab you in the face.

When I said "realistic", I meant mostly graphically realistic- which is almost a fact.
Well, from your point of view, the violence in the game is ridiculous, what can I say?
There are people who enjoy it. When I play games I don't always look for how reliable they are, I just usually don't really care.

Save me, mama... I won't reply that way again.

But we're not debating whether you enjoy it.. bah, this is pointless, how can i argue with you when you dont make any points!?

DAMN YOU SHINE!

Code: Select all

[14:24:30] <+Darkshine> i WILL get the parody thread craze going in Uplink forums
[14:27:36] <Deepsmeg> Parody threads are frowned upon, like a thing that is not welcome
[14:27:56] <Deepsmeg> The moderators lock them, lock them like the door to a big vault
[14:29:14] <The_GoldFish> I can hax0r the code
[14:29:17] <The_GoldFish> and you can't :P
[14:29:45] <Deepsmeg> I tried to hack the code, I tried like a hacker trying to hack a hackable thing
[14:30:02] <Deepsmeg> But it was no use. It was too difficult, as difficult as an impossible thing.
[14:30:50] <+Darkshine> the click clikc of the keys sounded like a mouse machine gun
[14:31:00] <+Darkshine> the really itty bitty kind that isnt very loud
[14:32:01] <Deepsmeg> the quiet tapping, loud as the morning silence
[14:32:30] <Deepsmeg> the metaphors were getting too streched, like a clothes line being stretched too far
[14:32:33] <@CrazyPixie> hmm
[14:32:39] <@CrazyPixie> having a broken fridge sucks
[14:32:41] <@CrazyPixie> no food in the place
[14:32:47] <@CrazyPixie> except a dodgy looking loaf of bread
[14:33:18] <Deepsmeg> The loaf looked dodgy, slices were green. Green as a mixture of yellow and blue paints
[14:34:21] <Icepick> someone silence Deepsmeg
[14:34:26] <Deepsmeg> why?
[14:34:28] <Icepick> HIS GROWING MELODRAMA IS STARTING TO DISTURB ME
[14:34:45] <Deepsmeg> Icepick is picking on me, like a thing that picks ice
[14:34:54] <@CrazyPixie> Only I was not made of ice
[14:34:58] <Icepick> !setfireto Deepsmeg
[14:35:02] <@CrazyPixie> just the everlasting coldness of a life lived alone
[14:35:08] <+Darkshine> they were all dead
[14:35:10] <+Darkshine> DEAD
[14:35:16] <@CrazyPixie> With a heart as cold and hard as a glaciar
[14:35:26] * Icepick pokes Darkshine
[14:35:28] <@CrazyPixie> hey this is catchy
[14:35:28] <@CrazyPixie> hehe
[14:35:32] <Icepick> MAPU~?
[14:35:32] <Icepick> hehe

Sure he solved the case- Vlad was behind everything. He made that fairly clear. And then he killed Vlad- problem solved. No blood on his hands.

Oh, and people need to learn the difference between metaphor and simile.

Simile: Uses "as" or "like"
Compares X to Y.
"Baldrick, you're as sweet as a little pie"

Metaphor: Says X is Y
Baldrick, the little pie, stinks.
