The cost of gas

Postby Me300 » Thu May 13, 2004 4:45 am

How much is gasoline where you live? (regular unleaded)
Here, it is $1.90/gallon.
This is getting pretty fucking rediculous.

$0.89 CAD per Litre where I'm at. Yes, it is pretty insane, gas is usually $0.60 CAD per Litre.

Depends on the gas.

Diesel is roughly about 95 Cents a liter,
normal Benzine at 1,16 - 1,18 €, depending on the daily fluctuations and whether you go for Super or not...

It's still pretty ridiculous, though.

It's partly because the oil companies just noticed that they didn't actually have any oil. Well, whatever happens, we're screwed. It's going to run out eventually.

you guys are moaning that petrol is that cheap... typical americans...

Your talkin £3.55 a gallon, which at present exchange rates is about $6.28/€5.29 a gallon.... (per litres it's £0.78/$1.38/€1.16)... That basically means Me300 that i pay nearly the same for a litre as you do for a gallon, you sure you still want to moan?

But then, i guess that is why the UK has free health care, a welfare system that is one of the best in the world, and public services which (comparatively) are fantastic! (76% of our petrol prices are tax...)

(my source was: http://www.theaa.com/allaboutcars/fuel/ cause well... my parents pay for my petrol so I forgot the exact price!)

Yeah up the british public services,

shame about the price of petrol, at my local garage it was around £0.82 per litre

Well, it fluctuates between $0.85 and $1.00 a litre here, (thats Australian dollar)...

Actually, I really don't have much to complain about. Oklahoma has some of the cheapest fuel in the country, petrol and otherwise.
But if the cost of fuel was partly used towards giving something back to us, then I wouldn't have any problem with the price of fuel.

The last time I bought gas (gasoline; AKA petrol), I paid $1.999 (rounds up to $2.00) per gallon. Fortunately for me, my car has a small 4-cylinder engine that goes about 32 miles on 1 gallon of gas.

Over here in SLC, regular is $1.93 a gallon and super is $2.09. But most of the time my parents pay for me cause I run errands for them a lot.
I wasn't here.
