Exactly the reason I use Opera. I just wish someone would release and RSS program compatible with Opera or Opera would be patched to include one. I like using RSS but I can only find programs compatible with IE. Grrrrrrrrrrr....

[edit] Well that was quick. The Opera 7.50 Beta includes an RSS function. Woo to the hoo.[/edit]

Firebird also loads pages a tad faster than the thing I'm not supposed to compare to and has a small but working built-in download manager.

I used Opera for a while too, but it was just a tad too... clunky.

Arachne actually looks fun, I just can't quite get it to connect via LAN to the router yet.

What! Safari has been gold for months and months. It's currently in version 1.2.

i currently use Firefox,

mainly because i'm (gradually) moving away from M$ products, and also because of the tab support.

I can understand that the person who started this poll (I forget who it was) hadn't heard of Safari. I think that they did a very good job in listing so many different browsers. However, I believe they should have put an "Other" category.

I use Safari because, like so many Mac products, it looks cool. It makes all buttons the way they are in OS X, unlike Firefox, which I use mainly for downloads because you they go faster and you can pause them. I found IE very unappealing, fortunately for me soon after I got my Mac Safari came out.

Just my two cents.
