Forgive me in my un-vetness for asking, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to know what the CEPO really was all about. I have heard it mentioned before, and on the Uplink Chronology; does it have anything to do with either a) Linux or b) That game where one hits penguins using a yeti-and-bat, to see how far they can go?

A link to the thread, if anyone has one, would suffice. I'd go trawling through the wayback machine myself, but I'm too lazy.

It's been mentioned SO MANY times recently.
It's basically something that if it doesn't concern you, you don't need to worry about...
Though, maybe everyone should be worried about the swarms of penguins planning to invade Dorset, Hampshire, Sussex & Kent?

Somehow, that just makes me want to know even more.... hardly a satisfying answer. I realise that it is forum history and since I arrived at a point considerably far after, it is not really something I should go poking my nose in. However, as an honest community member, who wants to develop his presence within these forums and become a fuller, more rounded contributor, I feel it is in the interest of the community at large to tell me what it was all about.

Someone. Anyone.... Please?

the CEPO is an exclusive thing, one who has been around for as short a time as you have only little knowledge of it,
even i am unable to fathom the inner workings, and i was around the forums back when the CEPO was starting to emerge,
