"Fiddle with things" could come out the wrong way in that context... ;)

exoSyphen has added certain target and instructions for the missions. Boring hacking is only finding a target, hack, do whatever you want. That may be the reason why some people say it's fun because you look like you're in a corporation.

But you won't be able to buy softwares at your own will because you will run out of money. :)

Still, I think all 3 games look too similar...
I did defeat Epyon, on Hard Mode but I used up lots of continues. :)

Would it kick ass to play it in a multiplayer environment?
I intend to test some networking code on the game engine.

And btw ... there is now a complete GUI based mission editor to take full advantage of the game environment.

I had to close it down because Exosyphen moved away from their distro company :(

Hey Anthony,

I moved avay from that distro company due to their crappy services in the past time.
My account with them is still valid and generates sales, so if you wish, you can use the ordering links and get a commisions.

Please email me if you wish to set this thing up again. I can help you out.

That's too bad, and I was already in talks with a guy who made this really kewl small-form compiler who wishes to advertise on your site and pay you up on commision basis too.

Usually, you have to pay for commercial software, downloading it is illegal.

Well, I'm not sure, but I've heard that downloading full versions of games from internet is NOT illegal, but putting them there for download IS illegal. I am wrong, right?

The legality of stuff depends on the country you're in.
It doesn't as much with software (downloading software is illegal everywhere I know), but it does differ a lot with music.

In Israel, for example, downloading music is CONSIDERED illegal, it can be proven to be legal, if you wish.
That's because there's a law that indicates you may copy music from a friend, for your own pleasure (not sell it, though). That law was written before there was download, I guess. Right now, there are many discussions about changing those laws, but meanwhile, one can say that when using a P2P software he's merely "transferring music from his friends to his own data storage (the hard disk, that is)".

Of course, people do understand that it's basically illegal, and not many actually know about that flaw in the law. However, it does mean that the police doesn't care if you're downloading stuff. It's not like in the US... :)
