I saw this topic in the forum, which was about a cryptology challenge. I've decided to give you one:
U29tZSB0ZXh0IGFuZCBhIGdvb2QgZW5jcnlwdGlvbiBzb2Z0d2FyZSBpcyBhbGwgeW91IG5lZWQg
dG8gbWFrZSBhIGNyeXB0b2dyYW0uIEkgaGF2ZSB0ZXh0LCBidXQgaWYgeW91J3JlIHJlYWRpbmcg
dGhpcywgbXkgc29mdHdhcmUgd2Fzbid0IHN0cm9uZyBlbm91Z2gu
That's the cryptotext. Now, in order to decrypt it, search the forum. If you've got Gamebible 3 by yourselfs, you have what it takes.
Good luck!

OK, understood.
You need an another clue.
Clue: OTP.
It's much easier than you think.
Trust me.

I'm sorry man, I don't hav eany experience decrypting things and wouldn't know how or where to start with this one.
To my eyes it looks intimidating.
Intimidation isn't what stopped me though,...it was lack of knowledge that did me in.

you're going to have to give us a bigger clue than that pal.

OK. A bigger clue you'll get.
Search in Google for OTP software.
You'll find only one prog.
Download it. Figure out how it works. use the other option of the prog, not the main one. Use the Force.
If that's not enough, just PM me.

I am just going to point out that if you do OTP properly it is uncrackable. I am not saying you did it properly, but if you did. . . Also to really crack stuff a much longer message is generally needed, also some other information may be needed. Eitherway I fail to see the point, but I guess some people enjoy it. :)

Some text and a good encryption software is all you need to make a cryptogram. I have text, but if you're reading this, my software wasn't strong enough.

My father is a specialist in this sort of thing, and we both agree with Stews. Generally ANY code is crackable with enough text, even if it is simply switching one letter for another random letter, with no logic other than that, but this is a very short paragraph. And I can't be arsed.

If it is OTP then you can say that it says anything less than or equal in bits than the encrypted string. Since any bit can be XORed with at 1 or a 0, the result can be either a 1 or a 0, and since each bit is independant of all others (there is no pattern in general) all combinations of bits (for that length) are possible. All cases are equally valid. The intended meaning is only revealed when the key is given. This is one of the interesting things about OTP. However since OTP is a bit operation, and you gave a string I would assume this is not actually OTP. :)

The challenge has been solved, by d0s. the plaintext is:
"Some text and a good encryption software is all you need to make a cryptogram. I have text, but if you're reading this, my software wasn't strong enough. "
Good work, d0s! Just PM me, and we'll figure out the prize. Next challenge will be posted shortly.

No, it says something, I just want to find out if it's crackable
