That is fine. I have never argued that Windows was the most secure OS out there. If you feel comfortable securing a *nix based system fine (there certainly are some advantages there). My point was that no OS is perfect, and that infact no OS is an order of magniture better than Windows (epecially if you want the level of functionality of Windows).
I do actually care about most people, I am sorry you don't. Must be another "grown up" thing. One more reason to keep being the "child" I am.

Stews, Jabberwocky, can you stop this pointless arguing and bickering like children? You should both know better than this....

And I'm saying, you're wrong. Fundamental flaws in the way Windows is designed negates this.
No OS is perfect, but I'll argue that Windows is several orders of magnitude worse than anything else you can go with, for more reasons than I've gone into here.
What I use secure systems for, and the concept of computer security, well, things outside of the secure networks I set up and run, don't matter. At some level they do but the controls placed on network access and network profiling and the fact that the systems and networks themselves aren't affected by or connected to/with the majority of clueless home users...
The funny thing is you have no idea who I am, who I work for, or what I'm working on.
edit-
I don't apologize I'm passionate about my work. Deal.
