I'd even say that (from my personal experience)
MS-DOS 3.11 is better than WinME

But in 1½ hour I'll be boot OpenBSD up for my first time
I just can't wait till I get home (UNIX rulez)

At the original topic:
"old news my friend"

there is also a Box out called "Hacking the XBox", which (surprisingly) tells you how to get Linux on an XBox, which already has a HDD, so its cheaper to do... etc

*yawn*

Stability and performance are the two biggies.  I don't really like Unix as an everyday OS, but for servers and such it is still superior to Windows.  I love working with Solaris at work for web development (CGI programming).  It handles huge loads with amazing stability.  :)

I want an army of obese people to run on a pile consisting of all the PS2s in the known world.

Hopefully that would get rid of the damn things. They are lame, how can advertising be so good as to have convinced people otherwise?!

I believe at one point Saddam was looking at using PS2s to create guided missles.  Interesting idea.  :)
