What is this DevCD everyone is talking about. Apparently, it is a CD that allows you to edit/develope uplink. Or Am I wrong? AND WHY IS THE BOARD PASSWORDED? :(
I think therefore I am.

The DevCD board is only open to those who purchased the DevCD. Go Figure. Sorry

The DevCD Forum is locked as Introversion software do not want the source code for Uplink leaked. Hence you need to actually buy the CD and therfore own an liscence to use the source code before you are given access to the DevCD Forums.

If you hadn't posted it it'd be off the page and out of memory in a thread or two.  It was at the bottom of the page, now its at the top again.  Good job, genius.

Stupid people piss me off.  People wanting every thread closed piss me off.  Selfish people piss me off.  There seem to be a lot more of these types around lately and it is getting to me.  As soon as I finish the Dev Site I am taking a break for a while to get over it.  :)

In case you didn't know, "yanks" have been buying more games from the uplink site than "brits".

that's because there are more yanks than brits?
and because damned near every yank kid wants to be a 1337 h4x0r, and thinks uplink will help them do that?

No, its because Uplink wasn't available in the US for quite some time, so the only way that you could get it was to order it online.

That was an irrelevant fact.  Ha!  Gotcha!

It was not widely avalible in Britain either.  There were actually not that many Americans here before the US release.  :)

I heard somewhere that you can't use VB to code uplink. Is that true?

PS I know nothing about programing so forgive me if this is a stupid post...
