lotr is nothing compared to the matrix and to coolsi, i hope they dont make a 4th because it will ruin it as this is meant to be an ending and it wont be the same without some of the characters ;)

If you're talking about the movies, maybe.

However, if you're talking about Tolkien's books, no way!  In my set of LOTR, he has extensive background on orcs, hobbits, elves, dwarves, etc.  Way more detail.  Also, the books are very much separate, and not a rip-off of the first one, like some trilogies.

Yes, the best fantasy novels are those with lots of background, possibly history books which can (potentially) made on the world, like wheel of time.

as far as movies/books go, i always found the book better then the movie.

The LOTR movies are much better quality than the Matrix ones.  The Matrix was amazing, but the last two have lacked the energy of the first one.  The LOTR films just get better.  :)

Reasons 27 and 28: You're the retard interuptting the show, and you acctually expext not to get thrown out?!

Reason 29: No, they need to give Neo that phone. It's not freking attached to the wall.

Reason 32: Yes, and when was it stated that is jello?

Reason 36: Thats NINE points below the average of 100. I'd like to see your score.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm just getting started.

I respect Tolkien for making such a detailed world, with it's own history. Doesn't change the fact that it's boring though.
Made you look!
