I damn well did watch the game.
I felt that in the first half we lacked the critical touch to get ourselves in a goal scoring opportunity. Also, it seemed that all of our players were in the wrong half of the pitch compared to where the ball was. James was unlucky with their goal, which was a bit of a shambles.
The start of the second half was better from us (England) and we deserved to equalise (Rooney) and then go ahead (Beckham). I would have prefered for us to have continued attacking but we sat back and defended.
On a side note, the crowd, which was mainly made up of 17,000 Macedonians, behaved quite appallingly in some cases. I'll wait to see what punishment they will be given.
As you said, on to Wednesday.

we deserved to win in terms of performance against there side, but we were absolute shocking. Sol Campbell played well on the whole but why all the low headers? there was no need! ashley cole kept wandering into the center and letting the guy on their right wing creep in, frank lampard looked like this was the first time he'd played football..... rooney was all over the place in the first half.......
in the first half they were genuinely better than us - we were attrocious. but they still won so i'm not TOO displeased
