I'm trying to make my own Lan but I've run into a problem,  I have modem set up, however in game when i type the phone number into my IP lookup it comes back Ip not found, I've changed it couple of times and it still doesn't work.  Anyone know how to fix this problem?

(I'm using ULC)

i'm not sure if this matter but is it formated right i.e xxxxx-xxxxxx, and not (xxxxx)xxxxxx or some other variation

(i've never tried making a lan before)
I'll try anything once, twice if it involves half naked girls and strawberry syrup ;)

Icepick how did you create those two files that had to be downloaded in the UHL challenge 5?

If you have your phone number in the format xxxxx-xxxxxx like parasite said, it will work. Im sure other formats work, but I dont know what they are, heh.

And I just hex edited the user file for the files in Challenge 5.

I fix the phone number problem it seems that the game doesn't recognize it unless its starts with 0.

I've run into a problem with one of my lans, for some reason the monitor bypass doesn't work, even though the little green light is on.  This unfortunetly makes my lan nearly impossible since as soon as you start hacking a password the trace starts.   The only thing diffrent about this one that I can think of is that the router isn't at 0,0.  Anyone know how to solve this problem?

If you are connecting to the main server, the trace will start anyway, as the admin traces all connections to the main server.
