this is a request for a (big) bug fix for uplink, and some suggestions for new features( i know, i seem wantin and stuff, but hey)

1. if at all possible, please fix the irc client so it works on other systems and not just xp....((*HINT*))

also, when i was looking around uplink for somthing new the other day, i decided to look at the contents of my uplink disk. i noticed somthing on the inside cover( meaning if you took out the cover of uplink and turned it over this is what i saw.
there was a formula:

(C8 H10 N4 O2)

(this is 8 carbon atoms, 10 hydrogen atoms, 4 nitrogen, and 2 oxygen atoms)

and a message written by the mentor, does this have any signifigance on the game or is it just a titbit?

lol. it could be some significence *SNIP* spoiler...

the formula is that of Caffene (found in coffee, etc). think about it, when do hackers do most of they're work, nightime. how do they stay up late? coffee. and, "last of the bedroom programmers" need coffee for long nights of coding

Disagree!

Coders drink energy drinks nowadays. Coffee is something you must actually make unless you have an espresso machine and then you no longer are a bedroom coder.
