stick with 2000 i had xp and it ran very heavily on my strong computer. win2000 with ntfs runs much better.

i have xp and i have to say i think it sucks, its just much too bulky even at higher res (dus it make a diffrence in win) everything looks like it was designed for 5 yr olds pluss ther are loads of tech difficultys especially concerning the net and internet gaming is a joke, my counterstrike life it totaly dead

XP is cool. Im not even gonna bother with this arguement again.

XP looks alot better than the old windows. It used to look all boring and dull but XP looks colourful and fun

I hate to say it, but I actually agree with JR here. XP is better than Me, 95, 3.1, dos, some would argue 98/98SE (but 98 has its good points). It all comes down to a matter of personal taste: Linux/XP/2000/98/etc

Anything is better than WinME. I've had WinXP Pro for 5 months and not ONE crash.... well ok I do remember one but I think its because I networked my Xbox... which is made by MS... but I got online with Gamespy, so it was Gamespy's fault

I run XP and it seems to be alright. A few problems, but I've had just as many problems with any other OS I've run.

The thing which pisses me off most about it is the way it's designed for people who have difficulty working out how to switch on a computer. Also the defrag and scandisk are crap.

I had winxp, and I moved to win2000 and im much better now. The only thing better in xp is that it identifies most hardware without you having to install it.
win2000 is the way to go.
