I have had a thought. We are forgetting some of the simple stuff. Who we produce a website to keep everyone updated, who will advertise this, who will beta test - i could try. I know at this stage it is not essential but lets get it organised. I could beta test. We could even have our own forum [which i could moderate if none else wants to]! As for the advertising. Make skins and gateways for Uplink (if we r alowed)!

I can advertise and i was also setting up a website , bear with me and this webpage is for information not for graphical apperance (I.E its gonna be plain text using my good friend notepad).
The final programming language is 'Delphi' , it has been decided and we have two programmers who are confident and think they can do it.
Unless you can overcome there enthusiasm then its going to be delphi.
So Biblin and LandRocker you are lead programmers.
We need a substitute graphics man as the guy doing graphics wont be able to do them for another week or so (am i right Omega?)
So how about you DJ Frex , are you up to the challenge of being our graphics man?
If anyone is experianced in 3D Graphics / 2D graphics post here because we need 3D characters and movies but we also need buttons , titles , banners , lots of things...

The website URL is http://www.fusioncities.com/ak47/index.html
Enjoy!,

Erm - I seem to remember saying I didn't have time to be lead programmer as I've got work, moving house and a final year university project to contend with.

I'm happy to program for you - just don't put me in charge of getting it done (even jointly).

Well... i mis-spelled what i was supposed to write ;) .
Ok, your not lead programmer but it would be nice it you could give LandRocker a little help to get this underway . I can do some of the graphics but we still need a 3D graphics guy for characters and movies.
Step forward and dont be shy!

No problem...  Going to need some more specific design documents though.  Ideas need to be split into separate components, how each component interfaces with the others.  Basic OS overview.  That sort of thing.  If it was just one programmer working on it, it wouldn't be a problem but as you're having several, you need to make sure that each persons work will interface properly with everyone elses.

It's similar to pascal yes so if you're used to that you shouldn't have a problem learning delphi.  It is different though so you may want to look around the net for details on the differences - there's too many for me to post here and I'd probably forget a load.

Unless- do you need someone with a good idea of how to manage a project?
