I just realised I cant help with programming in Delphi, im simply not experienced enough. But I would still like to help - ideas, design etc.

Sweet, I'd like u in testicle.
I got the letter-by-letter thing working, so look out for 0.0.1 soon, today or 2morrow morning as I have heaps of homework. It still needs a few graphics as I had to use the titlebar image for all the borders too because of the arrows goin through every thing. AK47: do u have a copy without arrows?
Yeah, basicly all that's in this ver is the main screen, an a/v player and two output boxes with borders. I'm gonna put in an 'open' command for the player but in the actual game it can just be set to play whatever.

im 14 and know some VB and C++ so if u still want people im all for helping. I have some good experiance and i would be happy to work on the Ideas and Graphics side of things and wud be able to do web design if needed!

Here's the next update.
The GUI should be online & uploaded 2morrow (i'll get up early specially
) and I'll stick a link to it here.
The pause button on the a/v player has some issues (after unpausing u can only hear some of the sounds Biblin: any ideas?) and I think it needs more graphics specifically designed for the windows. Also the text flickers a bit when it's being written. Again, Biblin or testicle: any ideas regarding that.
I think the last thing im gonna put in this release is gonna be that arrow thing down the bottom left with a popup menu with some options. Hopefully i'll be able to edit the menu code so it looks cool (green on black, etc.)

Well the truth I cant actually help you because im new to deplhi, so max help i can provide is in theory, or pseudocode.
anyway the text can flicker because it is written inefficiently. if you write over and over it again it can flicker.

Hi guys , after a few days without word i owe you atleast an apology , sorry
I have been busy with things but im back , you managed great without me
Testicle if you still want to be in on this project give me a shout and your in.
The host for the site went down, why *no comment* though i do know why it went down. *cough*.
I dont have a copy without arrows mate but i can make another version and take more time on it.
Could i have a prev of what everyone has done to show?
if you can take a screendump then drop it in my inbox.
i noticed that you are very independant and work great!
What needs to be done now?
I can produce images like the ones on that image (to a specified scale) if needed.

just to let everyone know, I am doing a hell of a lot of design at the moment for the game, and when my scanner obeys me. I will send AK, landrocker and Biblin the pictures. These are designs for everything from the GUI to the main menu to some of the missions. If anyone wants a copy send me an e-mail with the link above with the subject "domination".

I was working on my own game, Subnet, which was coded in delphi, but that didn't really work out because i'm no good with graphics or design... only the coding side of it + there was lack of interest.

As I said, it has a few issues but they can be resolved, sorry it took so long but my sis was on the pc for 4 hours this morning. If u can't be bothered waiting for all the flickery text to type out, just click on the message box.
EDIT: Uh, run it in 1024*768 or the text goes off the screen
