Hey hey hey.
How do i join these wargames then?
I have experienced the hackerslab.org and pulltheplug.com unix / linux wargames and i am intorested in these wargames going on here.
What OS / are these wargames based on , and im guessing by the 'start' post on this topic there are teams?
Well i have been hanging around these boards for a while but i have never until this point taken the time to sign up and post my own opinions.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN if they are still going that is!

i'm a unix newbie, but i'm learning fast. I tried making a team @ roothack.org, but we've never recieved an email about it. So anyway, count me in.

It'd help if you had Linux or a BSD. I'd reccomend a Linux, prefferably Red Hat or Mandrake, with the emphasis on Red Hat (at least it tries to be professional).
There's a site that sells Linux distros but I seem to have lost it... if you want me to burn you a Linux distro I can do that. I've got Slackware 8.1, Red Hat 7.3, freeBSD 4.5 and freeBSD 5.0 Developer Preview 1.
Unless you're overseas.
Of course, all you really need is putty.
