We need a patch

chris i hate to say this and i know it isnt your fault. Hey hang on yes it is WE NEED A PATCH TO FIX THE IRC THING CAUSE IT DONT WORK!!!!!!

yeah it was so annoying i waited all this time and the irc thing was the bit that i was waiting for the most and it dont work.

It seems that the patch was test on 2K and XP machines...

Can't blame them if you don't use a real OS.

I have 2k pro and I can neither run the irc client properly or run it fullscreen. Urk
I wanted the irc client too and I haven't had time to hack LANs yet <too busy attacking our garden>

connect to the internet before u go on uplink, and make sure you're connecting to '#uplink' instead of '#uplink-test'

I've done that aswell <i.e. change to #uplink> and I was online when I tried it.
