If you could replace the background music for Uplink, what would you play instead?  My choice, Wake Up by Rage Against the Machine

'pends... You know, I was just wondering how long it'd take for first post of this kind (well, it's the first I've seen..) would appear. Dozens of good bands/songs to play by, here's some: Celtic Cross, Lost Highway, Balligomingo, maybe some Jarre, few good retro samples, some tracks from Joe Hisaishi or Nobuo Uematsu, Lain/Noir OST(though I haven't heard them fully) and naturally Also Sprach Zarathrustra for fast-playing ARC's plot line ;). Also some field-technique songs might be cool.

As I said, the list goes on and on ;)

I would have to recommend Offspring's 'Staring at the Sun' - it gets the heart racing
InterNic - What would we do without it?

Personally, I turn off the ingame music and play the majority of my Winamp playlist while I'm ingame. Clay People, Sevendust, Psykosonik.. Blue Man Group.. the soundtrack from Sonic CD.. and Pi, and Lost Highway, and a few other things. (Enough to play Uplink for 20 hours without the same song playing twice. I like variety.)
Indeed.
