Q. Where can i download a copy of Uplink?
A. You can't, you can only get Uplink by buying it Directly from Introversion, and it is sent to you on CD

Umm...

shouldn't
1000010111010111011011110000

be
01000010011101010110110101110000

Binary is in byte's (groups of eight) you seem to have missed off the preceding zeros.  Which kinda turns your original statement into junk.
Ripped apart it means, 133 à, 215 Î, 111 o, not a character(half a byte missing).

So you àÎo ed the post back to the top.

Well done :)

P.S. I don't mean to be harsh but if your gonna pretend to be nerdy at least don't make mistakes that a GCSE student wouldn't.

Oooh boy are my cheeks red :)

Yes, you're right.

Binary conversion leaves off the preceding zeros, so I have to check the length and do that meself.

I wrote the script I did this with fast, from scratch, so I missed a few essential details...

*Lets out a sigh of relief that he hadn't missed something important, and done something silly himself* Phew. :)

I hope your sig isn't the same or I'm gonna have some trouble decoding that. ;) It is ASCII, not EBCDIC isn't it? Or I'm gonna have to go back through my books :(

Sorry about my post earlier, re-reading it, it's a bit harsh. Sorry. :S

Ehh, don't worry about it. I'm still kicking myself for it meself. But then, anyone can make mistakes.

And no, my sig is ASCII, and was done properly, but it is also slightly encrypted... No, I'm not going to tell you how ;) Icepick might, if you PM him...

By slight encryption what do you mean, have you just replaced the 1 w/ 0 & vice versa, or written it backwards, or something of the like.  Or have you used "proper" encryption software?
I'm gonna end up spending ages on it other wise :( *Boo hoo*

I performed a certain mathematical operation on every character.
