Disavowed

I've just been disavowed for a really stupid reason, I was trying to delete my logs witht the file copier. DoH!

Anybody else been disavowed for a stupid reason?

The stupidest thing i have been disavowed for is deleting the wrong logs. I was deleting everyones logs but mine. Didn't take me long to figure out what i was doing wrong

heh i just forgot to pay a bill. looking back i had about 10 missions before i would have seen it and i went over the deadline and then i died!

I was hacking a place and I accidently got kicked off because I didn't have my trace tracker on.  then 2 days later I was disavowed

I completed a mission and went to check the mission board. Since there was nothing there that I could select I decided to play some MGS2. My ps2 is in a separate room from my puter so I spent 4 hours jamming the console, only to return to a disavowed screen. heh... I forgot to delete my route log on InterNIC before I left. ~

The stupidest reason I ever got disavowwed was when I hacked my own bank account without bypasses.

I had just started to play the game, and now that I look back on it, it sounds really stupid. :biggrin:

uplink internal services system and doing the mole mission, I logged back onto the system to spend my credits, without bouncing, and accidentely clicked on the admin account instead of my own, logged on, and was caught straight away! how stupid was that!

Heh, I've almost had that happen to me Kaolix - around 8 times actually; luckily I caught myself.

My stupidest disavowing was probably on my first bank robbery. I decided that instead of going back and forth deleting logs, I'd just do a bunch of bank robberies, then delete the logs at the account I send it to. Took a while, but they managed to passive trace me while I was still hacking accounts!

Stupid think I did was on the demo. I hacked a bank and paused the game to answer the phone. Came back and I'd been traced. Pause doesn't work when your being traced!

I don't know about stupid, but I made a fatal error when I abandoned the fine the Social Security DB had given me for hacking them.  The game ended pretty quickly after that.
