What do you do to find your computers IP.

Usually if you look up your host name while your connected to the i-net, you should be able to find it

127.0.0.1 is a loopback to your own computer

or opena urn box and type "winipcfg"
copy down the ip form there

yeah 127.0.0.1, like that's gonna help :-)

or use ipconfig /all if you've got nt/2k/xp

or ifconfig -a if you've got linux, but if you've got linux you'd probably know that anyway :-)

That depends what kind of conncetion you are using. For example I got ADSL and (because of my ISP) my homenetwork IPs and "internetIP's" are different.

well if you use windoze. go to the start menu. then click on run. then type in "winipcfg" and like magic a little app with your ip in it will show up!!!

win 95, 98, ME
start menu, run, winipcfg, (use the drop down to get your net card)

win nt, 2000, xp
start menu, run, command, ipconfig

ingame
your ip is always 127.0.0.1 which is the tcp/ip loopback
