Anti-Tart

Being the most-pop-tarting-hater on the planet, I have made a thread dedicating to the fact that pop-tarts are cruel, inhumane and plain disgusting.
(plus, they have gelatin and gelatin has beef and i'm a vegiterian)
Anyone that is with me, post your thoughts, it will be appreciated. If you are a pop-tart lover go on being your gelatin guzzling self and keep killing the poor, helpless cows.

Technical note.
Gelatin is formed by boiling callagen.
Collagen is a protien found in nearly all animals including humans (about a third of our protien).
It makes skin, bones, and tendons both strong and somewhat elastic.
Commercial gelatin typicaly comes from cow or pig hooves, bones and tendons.
The parts are ground up and then given either a strong acid or base bath to seperate the protines.
The mixture is then boiled where the collagen forms a layer on the surface.
Gelatin is used in a wide variety of things including gummy bears
sour cream
cream cheese
cake icing and frosting
marshmallows
soups, sauces and gravies
chewing gum
yogurt
and those easy to swallow pills.
It's also found in cosmetics lozenges and ointments.
There are also no cruel or inhuman acts associated with the manufacture or use of gelatin.

I ask this: where would the cows be without mcdonalds? Face it, they are big, eat a lot, and serve almost no purpose at this day and age. If they were not eaten, they would be practically extinct (well, outside India). This is not in support of that, just a sad note.
You are, of course, aware of the fact that vegetable gelatin exists? At least in Portugal, dunno about other, less developed, countries. :p

work in a slaughterhouse for a few months, then come talk to me again. My father owned one here, I *still* get disgusted with some things I remember from it. And I eat meat, mind you (I'm not a vegetarian purely out of lazyness), but I have to do some serious mental engineering to not feel sick from what I *know* has been done to it.
For example, pigs didn't get killed. They got stunned with an electrical shock to the neck, then put in a machine that boils their skin and beats them with a kind of circular hammers to remove their body hair and thicker skin. *ALIVE*.

Woohoo... Cheese rules... Pop tarts suck... Not a vegetarian either, not because i don't care about the poor animals (uhmm... actually, i don't care... so why did i say that?), but just because i like cheese better...
:cheesy:
Uhmmm... but look from it this way: You like oranges?
(my fans know the true answer )
