I just find it interesting. It appeas that at least 50% of the people who have heard of Uplink 'bought' the CD, then 'lost' the card before they started a game. Someone should do a statistical study on Uplink players and incidences of losing things.

Bah, losing the card.
Look, it's a fun game.
It's well priced.
There is _no_ excuse to warez.

Fundamentally, by buying something you like, you encourage the author to continue writing. Chances are, you'll also like the next thing they write too (or the upgrades or whatever) <grin> The reverse is also true.

The only excuse I've seen for warezing, is that you use it to evaluate. Nope, there's a demo.

I realise that this is probably wasted, since the warez monkeys are going to ignore me, and the people who've already bought it, well have already bought it but...

Yes, that's because it's a good excuse for a flame war.
And cos warez trolls are ... well quite successful as trolls really.

BUT ONLY IF YOU BOUGHT IT!!!!!!!!! DONT BE A WAREZ LAMER, this is a kewl company trying to suply us with a good game for £15!!! so be honest!

The key card in the case isnt wrong. It would be pretty pointless if it was, dont ya think?
