Real hacking games

There are actually REAL hacking games available on the net. I used to play them alot, but Ive have been programming too much lately. If you want to take a shot, I would reccomend www.pulltheplug.com (the best ever, you actually need to write buffer-overflow exploits when you have advanced to the more harder levels.
If you are more newbeish, you should try www.try2hack.nl, but later this game become more and more pathetic... anyway, have fun =)

no offence... www.try2hack.nl starts out good for newbies, but it never gets hard, just about anyone should be able to complet it in a couple of days, oh btw, when I didnt some time ago, the last level was missing (and yes it was a bug, not my poor skills):)

As I said, the final challange in Uplink is to root Introversion in SSH/Telnet.

Get a wargame... its not hard.

www.slyfx.com is another good set of challenges.
i'm making my own set of challenges too, should be ready soonish.
try2hack was rediculasly easy, took me 3hrs for the whole lot.
zebulun is always "fun", i'm on lvl6 think it's broke atm tho.

It could simply be that I'm an ultra-n00b, but I went to that page try2hack and went to challenge and all it did was ask me for a password.

If someone could give me an idea of how to get started or let me know that I'm a moron and wasting my time, that would be great.

Dirk, I tried it too. I cracked level 1 in 10 seconds. Right click and view source. If you can't find the password then god help you.
PS Waiting for my Uplink to arrive. I cracked the demo in 113 minutes none-stop playing.

Introversion should make Uplink open source...I am thinking chris is nothing but a loser...he should die...I hope he reads this...if you wanna know why I hate that FAG so much I will tell you in a reply ....but I am going to tell you I was a vistor of this board every DAY...I was nice and that dum ass banned me...That gets me mad...I am hoping everyone will pirate the game ...do not buy it...it is fun, but never help out companies run with bad mangement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
