Prison Architect won't run on Steam

Hi,
I have registered, but it won't let me view the Community Forum where I believe this post is supposed to go. Everytime I start the game on Steam (either the regular game or safe mode) I get the same message:
"Prison Architect.exe has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem".
Then the game closes. I have read a bunch of posts, I have checked for my preference.txt file, re-installed the game several times, made a blank preference.txt file, updated Windows, updated my graphics card drivers to the latest version, checked the integrity of the game in steam...everything! I have posted my debug.txt below hoping for a fix.
Running Windows 10.
