how to download mods from steam and steam key i don't have

how do i download modes from steam to prison architect i don't have a steam key nor have i connected prison architect with steam idk to all this please help me I'm just new to this stuff and want to download mods please help

Hello, If you purchased Prison Architect directly from Introversion you should have received a Steam key in an email. To redeem this you must create a Steam account and enter your PA Steam Key.

It's cool, we're in the same boat. I backed the game back in 2012, long before they had it on steam, so I'm still waiting for my own steam key. Message support, it's what I did. Don't expect them to get back for a few days each time, as they seem pretty busy, but they will respond eventually.

I believe it possibly could be. I personally have never used it as I play Prison Architect on Steam but I have read about others using it in case of Steam not downloading modifications properly.
