Getting some attention on older bugs

Postby tgp1994 » Sat May 28, 2016 6:01 pm

Hi everyone,

As we approach yet another milestone in PA's development - I believe Update 7 of 1.0 is in the works - I was wondering if we could get some attention on some (very) old bugs in the tracker?

One sticking point for people is the fact that this game lacks native V-Sync. Some will argue that you should just flip on the v-sync control in your graphics driver's control panel, but this is not solution. It's intended as a hack for games that can't or do not properly implement v-sync control. Besides, some control panels or driver versions (looking at AMD) aren't able to make this hack work on all games. While Prison Architect is still receiving attention from the developers, I'd really like to see this feature get implemented.

That particular issue doesn't really talk about vsync, it's just general weining.

Fair enough, here's an issue from 2014 that explicitly mentions v-sync. Either way both issues would probably be solved by having this little feature added.
