I noticed that too, my hope is maybe that we can create custom roads and 'mark' the path into/out of the prison.

I.e. intake into a 'super lockdown area', or redirect cargo traffic away from the main road into an area that allows rapid unloading to avoid queues.

Road Gate Small would appear to me, to be one lane wide for instance.

I actually didn't catch this, thanks for pointing it out! (You can first see it at around 24:58 of the Update 3 video, if you're wondering)

I'm all for additional/custom roads, especially for hopefully reducing the amount of time workers have to trek across large prisons to fetch new objects. I wonder if there will be any downside to having additional roads, such as increased upkeep or something along those lines.

Chris was obviously trying out some community mods. For anyone interested, it is the mod Roadworks by who I can only call a genius Sambot. Link for those interested is here:
