A furlough system can allow prisoners to leave the site for a limited time, to take care of their needs.

The furlough hearing functions as a parole hearing, taking 1-2 hours. Open for low to medium security prisoners, who have not been transferred, on furlough or punished for 48 hours.

As for parole, the player can set a cutoff rate for re-offending risk.

If the prisoner commits a crime during furlough, the player is fined, and the prisoner is sent back.

A lawful prisoner returns from furlough 24 hours later, with all needs fulfilled (especially family, freedom, and recreation).
