I have been watching Beyond Scared Straight lately and I have wondered the similarities and differences from real life. Post your findings on what you think is different and similar

Similarities:
Being Stripped of clothes during incarceration.
Cell blocks
Riots and attacks

Differences:
No variety in food IRL
Cell blocks are more condenced in witch thery are more cicular REAL LIFE
The place is NASTY irl
You start in maximum security and go to minimum
Maximum is 23 hors in your cell 1 hour out of your cell

Why is starting at max and then getting your level lowered a difference? That happens in game.

My prison in prison architect:
Food variety: whats food?
Condensed cells: yeah 1x1 solitary cells
Nasty: yep no janitors
Max sec to min sec: everyone is max security for the full two days they live in my prison
1 hour out of cell: Isn't that too generous? I mean why not 24 hours locked up?

That would probably be the solitary confinement in the prison in question. I, personally am more centred around getting them to work hard. A few janitors, plenty of time outside your cell (except Protective Custody, they return to their cells in the afternoon.)
