My friend suggested a 2 Player mode for Escape Mode. One acts as the Warden and one person acts as the Prisoner. The Warden doesn't know who the player controlled Prisoner is, so as long as the player acts normally he won't arouse suspicion, this assumes the player can actually interact fully with the Prison such as Phones to order contraband, eating, weights and following the regime. It also gives you a real purpose to recruit other inmates to do your shady tasks, so the Warden doesn't notice you in your attempt to escape.
Does anybody familiar with modding know if this is possible?

I'd never underestimate modding communities but unless there is some netcode built in to the game, I'd say this probably isn't possible with the current tools.
I'd prefer to work together with a friend to break out though. Being on opposing sides would basically just be a game of look for the prisoner that isn't doing what the AI is doing. Would probably get old fast especially with the imbalance in power between the prisoner and warden. Working together would create an opportunity for prison architects (hurr) to make challenge maps that are built to be broken out of (Or more accurately, to stop you breaking out)

Yeah but I believe Escape Mode still needs a lot of work before escaping is actually a challenge.
